Danny Sinoff and his band flipped through the pages of the Great American Songbook and found a wonderful ending, two standing ovations. With Dan Miller on trumpet, Anthony Pinciotti on drums and Carlo De Rosa on bass backing him with style that screams big-time, Sinoff showed a style all his own as a rising star deserving of all the attention and praise.
With a big voice, fast flurries on the piano and boyish charm, he won the crowd over with memorable versions of “I Wish You Love, Pennies from Heaven, The Way You Look Tonight and September in the Rain.” Sinoff sounded just as good veering slightly from that well-traveled road with a quite lovely ballad “Stars Fell on Alabama” and sizzling, Sarah Vaughan-inspired “Teach Me Tonight.”

Update from The Syracuse Jazz in the Square Festival
Thursday, July 26th, 2007 -

"Danny Sinoff showed the crowd that's he's an exciting piano player, and his vocals are pretty darn hot, too. With the wonderful Danny Miller on trumpet, Anthony Pinciotti on drums and Carlo De Rosa on bass, Sinoff demonstrated chops and charisma with the ballad 'I Wish You Love' and the swinging 'On the Street Where You Live' from 'My Fair Lady.' "

Miller stood out with muted trumpet on the former and full-bore horn work on the latter.
Then Sinoff said: 'You guys like Cole Porter? Me, too,' and he showed it with a mesmerizing version of 'Love for Sale.' "
